Until 361, Akaki served as president of Phrygia . Around 361-362, he was on the post of consul of Galatia . While retired, Akaki visited Antioch . In 363/364, he was called to the imperial court in Ankira . In the years 364–365, Akaki was most likely responsible for the imperial estates in Cappadocia . He was a pagan. His son's name was Mark.
