Biography
The Sallahi Albanian family moved from Yugoslavia to Austria just a few months after his birth, settling in the city of Kapfenberg . At the age of four, he was sent to the football school of the local Kapfenberg team [4] .
In January 2011, Sallahi became a player in Bavaria [5] .
On October 27, 2012, Sallahi first played for Bayern II in an away match against Wurzburg Kickers (1: 2). On August 6, 2013, in a home game against the double “ Munich 1860 ” (2: 0), in the 76th minute, he scored the first goal for the Munich farm club. In the 2013/14 season, Sallahi became a key player in Bayern II.
On April 5, 2014, in the 29th round match against Augsburg , which the Bavarians sensationally lost 1-0, interrupting their record-breaking unbeaten run of games in the Bundesliga, which lasted 53 matches, Sallahi made his debut. The head coach of the team, Pep Guardiola, put Illy immediately in the starting lineup [6] .
On January 1, 2015, Sallahi moved to Karlsruhe , signing a contract until 2018 [7] .
