Vsevolod Grigorievich Cherny ( September 11, 1941 - August 7, 1989 ) - the Soviet boxer of the lightest weight category, played for the Burevestnik sports society, the master of sports. For many years he held the position of chief physician of the USSR boxing team, headed the medical commission of the Boxing Federation, teacher and theorist in the field of sports medicine, associate professor, candidate of medical sciences.

Biography
Vsevolod Cherny was born on September 11, 1941, in an evacuation in a village near Kazan. He began to actively engage in boxing in early childhood, was trained under the guidance of coach Boris Grekov . He graduated from the Moscow school number 163, enrolled in SCOLIFK, who graduated with honors. While studying at the institute, he worked at the boxing department, joined the Burevestnik sports society. He played the easiest weight, was the winner of all-Union and international tournaments, held more than a hundred official fights, with the result that he achieved the title of Master of Sports of the USSR [1] .
At the end of the State Center of Political Education, Cherny entered and successfully graduated from the Moscow Medical Institute . Pirogov. Got to work as a doctor in the USSR national boxing team. Later he headed the Medical Commission of the Boxing Federation of the USSR, was a member of the AIBA Medical Commission, the author of many methodological manuals and scientific works, in particular, in 1988 his book “Sport without injuries” was published. Associate Professor, Candidate of Medical Sciences, was a mentor of Valiriya Nikolayev , who later also became the chief physician of the national teams of the USSR and Russia [2] .
He died on August 7, 1989, was buried in Vostryakovskoye cemetery in Moscow. [3] .
