The park was created in 1973 near the city of the same name 190 km north of Perth on the west coast of the Australian continent . Currently, its area is 131 km² . [1] [2]
The Badgingarra district is located in the middle of the western coast of Australia ; it is famous for its high degree of endemism . Most species are found only in the western part of the continent , and some are generally found only in this area. [3] Among the predominant plants are Banksia grossa , Eucalyptus macrocarpa , Conospermum , spikelet vertical cordia , Hakea . [4] Superficiality prevails.
Of the animals in the national park, there are western gray kangaroos , bustards , emus and wedge tails . [five]
