Gameplay
In terms of gameplay, Gunfighter: The Legend of Jesse James is in many ways similar to another Namco PlayStation Time Crisis game , except that the action of Gunfighter: The Legend of Jesse James takes place in 19th-century America’s development zone [4] . The player must kill all the enemies that appear within the screen, followed by the transition to a new stage. Despite all the specifics of managing games of this genre, in Gunfighter: The Legend of Jesse James there is an opportunity to dodge the attack of the enemy. However, at each stage, the player must defeat everyone before time runs out. With the rapid passage of the level, the player’s time reserve increases [4] .
Sequel
Rebellion Developments also developed a sequel to the game, Gunfighter II: Revenge of Jesse James (shooter II: Return of Jesse James), released in December 2003 for the PlayStation 2 console [5] . The sequel is actually similar to the original game, except that Gunfighter II: Revenge of Jesse James is based on a different storyline. The game also has many new locations and improved graphics [6] .
