Biography

Born in the Ottoman Empire , in childhood with her family moved to Gyumri .

In 1926-1929 She studied at the Yerevan Art College under the guidance of S. M. Agadzhanyan , in 1931-1937 she continued her studies at the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I. E. Repin by A. A. Osmerkin . Formed as an artist in Russia.

During the Great Patriotic War, the artist mobilized all her forces to create works that respond to the needs of the times.

Later she worked as a teacher of painting and drawing.

E. Aslamazyan is the author of a number of portraits, landscapes, still lifes, and genre paintings. She loved painting, also tried herself in theatrical design, engraving. Engaged in ceramics.

Personal exhibitions in Moscow and Leningrad (1958).

In his art, he is a typically Eastern artist, who belonged to the Soviet art elite at first in Leningrad, and then in Moscow.

The works are in museums in Armenia, Russia and abroad, in particular in the State Tretyakov Gallery , the National Gallery of Armenia , the Dresden Gallery .
