Biography
Born on June 18, 1920 in the village of Czechs, Ukrainian SSR , now Berdychiv district, Zhytomyr region . He worked as a driver at the car repair plant in the city of Svobodny of the Amur region.
In May 1940, drafted into the ranks of the Red Fleet of the Armed Forces of the USSR . He served in the Pacific Fleet . In the battles of World War II from September 1941. He fought near Leningrad , Stalingrad , on the Dnieper as part of river flotillas and on the 1st Belorussian front . He had a light and heavy wound [1] . Candidate member of the CPSU (b) [1] . Submitted to the title of Hero of the Soviet Union for exceptionally brave actions during the landing in the area of Skrygalovo-Konkovichi and the Pinsk landing in June-July 1944.
By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated March 7, 1945, the title of Hero of the Soviet Union was awarded to the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star medal for high military mastery, courage and resilience of the Red Navy soldier Nikolai Anufrievich Sikorsky.
After the war, N. A. Sikorsky retired to the reserve in the rank of petty officer of the 1st article . In 1958 he graduated from the school of trade workers. He lived in the city of Evpatoria , where he worked at one of the enterprises of the city. Died October 24, 1990.
He was awarded the Order of Lenin , World War 1-st degree (April 6, 1985), medals.
