Geography
The village of Poltavka stands between the rivers Granitnaya (the right tributary of the Razdolnaya) and Razdolnaya (the right bank).
The distance by road to Novogeorgievka (to the west) is about 6 km, the distance to the district center of the village of Pokrovka is about 31 km.
The road to the village of Poltavka goes northwest of the village of Pokrovka on the left bank of the Razdolnaya river through the villages of Sinelnikovo-1 , Chernyatino , from Novogeorgievka along the bridge over the Razdolnaya river.
From the highway between the villages of Novogeorgievka and Poltavka, the road to the south goes to the village of Konstantinovka .
