In the final match with the national team of Hungary, where Koryazhkin was a spare, the USSR national team led 8: 4, but in the end lost; later, Burtsev, analyzing this defeat, said that the coaches did not dare to take the step that seemed obvious - after the second battle, change Alshan to Koryazhkin.
