Located on the shores of Lake Shomankol about 37 km south of Bayanaul . The name of the lake comes from the name of Bai Shoman, whose aul was located on the southern shore of the lake at the beginning of the 19th century. Buried on the eastern shore of the lake. Population
In 1999, the population of the village was 398 people (214 men and 184 women) [3] . According to the 2009 census , 280 people lived in the village (156 men and 124 women) [3] .
