Content

Biography

In 1918 he joined the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army .

In 1923 he graduated from the eastern branch of the Red Army Military Academy . [one]

In 1923–1930 , he worked at the People’s Commissariat of Foreign Affairs of the USSR , was the secretary of the USSR Consulate General in Tokyo . [2]

From 1930 he served in the IV (Intelligence) Directorate of the Red Army Headquarters in various positions, including in 1935-1936 he led a group of officers of the Red Army Intelligence Directorate , which was engaged in the NKVD deciphering the intercepted telegraph correspondence between Berlin and Tokyo .

In September 1938, he was repressed, but after a while he was rehabilitated.

From February 1941 he worked as a teacher in the correspondence department of the Moscow Institute of Oriental Studies .

Took part in the Great Patriotic War .

From January 1944, at the position of assistant chief of the operational department of the headquarters of the 29th rifle corps for information, then - head of the 1st division of the headquarters of the 73rd rifle division .

He died as a result of injury.

He was buried in the village of Malkin-Guria Rozhansky district of the Warsaw Voivodeship.

Family

The brother of the Soviet intelligence officer N. V. Zvonareva.
