Design and completeness
Consists of:
- RPG-18 anti-tank rocket -propelled grenade "Fly"
- Interruptive fuse MVE-72 with a starting device
- Set of installation and fixing mines on the ground
The mine is set manually perpendicular to the intended route of movement of the enemyβs armored vehicles and is masked on the ground. The optimal installation height is 37 cm. The cord of the breakaway target sensor is stretched across the intended movement of the target at a height of 0.8-1.2 meters . The firing mechanism of the MVE-72 fuse is fixed on the starting device.
In the event that the moving armored vehicle breaks the target sensorβs drive, the MVE-72 fuse gives a signal to its firing mechanism, ignites the trigger capsule, which initiates the launch of the RPG-18 grenade .
