History

The team was founded in 1996 by members of the “ Palace ” group: guitarist Yuri Vydronok, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist Dmitry Voytyushkevich , vocalist Veronika Kruglova and actor, producer Valery Kanishchev. Later they were joined by other musicians of this open-label label Belpunkt-Berlin. The group immediately began to organize concerts in Belarus and Western Europe. At one of these concerts, the Germans noticed them and offered favorable conditions for recording the album. The production center, which has been involved in the group since 1996 and so far, is called “Belpunkt”.

The debut album of Hej-Loli was recorded in Berlin . After the release of the record, the group began to give concerts in Belarus. Thanks to the high-quality recording and the original approach to music, they were easily entrenched in the German folk movement. Then the next album " Behind the Fog ... " was released. A video clip was shot for the song of the same name (director A. Vecher). KRIWI participated in such festivals as “ Slavic Bazaar ” ( Belarus ), “ Basovische ” ( Poland ), “Musica Vitale” (Berlin), “Festival Fur Folk, Lied und Weltmusik” (Perleberg), ( Germany ), “ Asia Dauisy ” ( Kazakhstan ), Molodechno ( Molodechno ), Rock Coronation (Belorussia), etc.

In 1999, the team received the main alternative prize of Belarus - "Rock Crown". Subsequently, one of the musicians of the group, Dmitry Voytyushkevich, left her and created his own separate project in 2000 called WZ-Orkiestra , guitarist Yuri Vydronok created his own separate project Uria , and Veronika Kruglova, becoming a double rock princess in Belarus , together with the producer continues his open project KRIWI. The group performed in Poland , Ukraine , Germany , Sweden , France , Italy , Russia , Slovenia , Kazakhstan , Estonia , Luxembourg and Latvia .
