Timiryazev Street ( Ukrainian: Vulitsa Timіryazkova ) is a street in Melitopol , located in the western part of the city in the Yurovka district. It starts from Stroitelnaya Street , intersects with Dekabristov Lane and ends on Akademik Korolev Street .

Title
The street is named after Kliment Arkadyevich Timiryazev (1843-1920) - a Russian natural scientist and physiologist, founder of the Russian and British scientific schools of plant physiologists, a historian of science, a professor at Moscow University. [2]
Also in 1939, another Melitopol street was mentioned, named after Temiryazev. [3]
History
On April 18, the city executive committee decided to allocate land on Yurovka to workers of the Lenin Way collective farm for individual development and the name of the new street in the name of Timiryazev. [3] [4]
