Liliane Annette Garcia (born August 19, 1966 ) is a Spanish - American singer and ring announcer who worked for the World Wrestling Federation (WWE) . During her first stay at WWE, she became the first WWE Diva to have been in the promotion for ten years.

Biography
Lilian Garcia was born on August 19, 1966 in Madrid , Spain . Here she spent the first eight years of her life because of the employment of her father, who worked at the American embassy . While in Spain, she was educated at an American military base , as a result of which she was often called the "child of the military." Upon returning to the United States, Garcia graduated from Irmo High School in Columbia , South Carolina . She continued her studies at the University of South Carolina , where she graduated with honors.
Participating in the Miss South Carolina beauty pageant, Garcia was in the top ten finalists. In Colombia in the early 90's. Garcia, along with Chuck Finley, became the host of the popular morning show "YES 97" on the radio station WYYS. She was a VJ in Atlanta , Georgia , where she also performed on an afternoon radio show. In addition, in Colombia, Lilian Garcia worked as a leading karaoke at the Nitelites nightclub at the Embassy Suites Hotel, and then at West Columbia Ramada.
Singing career
Lilian Garcia began to sing when she was still a child and lived in Madrid. There, at the age of 5, she and her sister took part in various song contests. As a teenager, when the Lilian family moved to Colombia, she began to sing with groups in clubs throughout the state; her mother was a real friend and companion for her, so often Liliane easily passed all kinds of auditions. So she appeared in the film "Modern Love" in 1990 as a singer.
In addition to her responsibilities with WWE, from February 14, 2000 until her departure on September 21, 2009, Garcia invariably sang the United States of America national anthem before most WWE Monday Night Raw recordings. WWE chairman Vince McMan asked her to sing America the Beautiful song on WrestleMania 2000 and WrestleMania 21 , thereby joining the famous list of legendary artists such as Aretha Franklin , Ray Charles , Riba McIntyre , Gladys Knight and Willy Nelson . Unlike other artists, Lilian Garcia, like Aretha Franklin, is a singer who sang a song at WrestleMania's opening more than once.
