Creating music with powerful narratives that reflect his life struggles, Mr. Criminal earned his first breakthrough when he met rapper Mr. Capone-E at the 2001 lowrider car show. Two performers recorded a track called “Criminal Mentality”, released by the musical association Thump Records , which gained wide international popularity in 2003.
Since then Mr. Criminal works with well-known artists and producers like Bone Thugs-N-Harmony , Nate Dogg , Fingazz , Fat Joe , Twista , Lil Flip , Glasses Malone , Suga Free , Mr. Capone-E , Spider Loc , Kokane , Roscoe, Triple C, Lil Cuete, DTTX, Shade Sheist and others. [one]
In 2006, the most anticipated Stay On The Streets album, featuring the hit single “ We Ride, ” thanks to Bizzy Bone from Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, who received national success throughout American radio, provided an opportunity for Mr. Criminal go on tour with hip-hop band G-Unit . [2]
However, his fame soon began to fade away after several accusations of breaking the law, especially in 2008, when law enforcement officers searched for his vehicle in Arizona and were accused of illegal possession of weapons and narcotic substances. [one]
After being released from custody, Mr. Criminal worked hard to get his life back on track, continuing to write music about his experiences with crime and the law. On Billboard Music, his track “Death Before Dishonor” was staged # 31 in the “Heatseekers Album category” and # 64 in the “R & B / Hip-Hop Albums category”; Rise 2 Power was # 37 in the Heatseekers Album category and # 65 in the R & B / Hip-Hop Albums category, and Criminal Mentality 2 was # 47 in the Heatseekers Album category.
