Biography
Boris Vasilievich Vakar was born in 1914 . Russian. Member of the Komsomol . He worked at the TSSDF . From the first day of World War II at the front. A military engineer of the 2nd rank Boris Vasilievich Vakar was shooting in Stalingrad , partisan detachments. He died in September 1943, participating in the Carpathian raid S. A. Kovpak .
The film material shot by B.V. Vakar was used during the editing of the famous chronicle-documentary film “ Pages of the Battle of Stalingrad ” (1967) and its surname is indicated in the credits of this film [1] .
