Born in 1892 in Oslo . In 1920, he took part in the Olympic Games in Antwerp , where he became the 13th in jumping and 11th in the triathlon (since only two Norwegian horsemen were able to complete individual triathlon performances, the Norwegian team did not participate in the team event). In 1928 at the Olympic Games in Amsterdam, he won a silver medal in the team championship in triathlon, and in the individual championship he became the 27th. In 1936 he took part in the Olympic Games in Berlin , where he became the 20th in dressage in the individual competition (and in the team competition the Norwegians were the seventh).
