History
It arose in the mid-1870s in the Soldiers' settlement of Tomsk. The name, like some other nearby streets, received the names of the cities of the Russian Empire - Tverskaya , Novgorod . Officially, it did not change its name, but with the advent of Novokievsky streets in private newspaper ads, it was called Starokievskaya in some official documents.
On the street they owned real estate Kukhteriny (d. 1), Golovanov (d. 57), K. Ya. Zelenevsky (brewery).
In 1907, an architect K.K. Lygin built a building for a diocesan school for women on the street.
