Biography
Born in the village of Nikolaevka, Kalininsky district, Saratov region, in a peasant family. In the Red Army since 1920. Member of the Civil War in the Tambov region and Ukraine.
In 1924 he graduated from the military-political school. In 1924-1933, the political officer of the squadron, company, military commissar of the company, the senior instructor of the political department of the division.
In 1937 he graduated from the Military-Political Academy. V.I. Lenin . In 1937–1940 in the political department of the Trans-Baikal IN , first deputy head.
From June 1940 - Head of the Political Propaganda Department of the 16th Army . In June 1941 the rank of brigadier commissioner was conferred.
In the Patriotic War since July 1941 as part of the 16th Army of the Western Front.
In October 1941 - the military commissar of the newly formed 1st Guards Rifle Corps , then a member of the Military Council of the newly formed 26th Army . Since November 1941 a member of the Military Council of the 50th Army .
Since November 1942, the head of the political department of the Transcaucasian Front , participated in the liberation of the North Caucasus.
From July 1944 to September 1945 a member of the Military Council of the Trans-Baikal Front . Member of the war with Japan.
He continued his service in the Army until 1956 (head of the political department of the Primorsky VO, a member of the Military Council of the Carpathian and Volga VO). Upon his retirement, he worked as director of the Kuibyshev Regional Museum. The author of memoirs.
