Biography

He began his career at the Södertälje club. From 1978 to 1984, he played for one of the country's most popular clubs, Djurgarden . In addition to playing in the local championship, Valtin played for 5 years in Switzerland in the Lugano and Zug teams. For a long time he entered the Swedish national team .

After completing his hockey career, Valtin became a coach. He has worked with clubs from Sweden, Switzerland, Austria and Norway. At various times, he led the national teams of Switzerland and Slovenia . In 2002, he was an assistant with Anders Hedberg in the Swedish national team at the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics . After their graduation, Valtin served as general manager of the team. He also held a similar position in Djurgarden.
