History
The first wooden church of the Holy Trinity was built in Radoshkovichi in the middle of the 15th century with the funds of the Vilna cottage-goer Peter Senka Gedigoldovich [2] .
The new temple, also made of wood, was built in the years 1734-36 in the Baroque style . The temple was richly decorated, totaled 7 altars [3] , a wooden bell tower was built nearby. There was a school and a hospital at the temple. At the end of the 18th century, the parish numbered more than 2,300 people, in addition to the church in Radoshkovichi, the parish of the Most Holy Trinity included chapels in the New Courtyard (now the Rogovsky Village Council of the Minsk Region ) and Sychevichi [3] .
After the church was completely burned down during a fire in 1855-1859, a stone church in the style of late classicism was built in Radoshkovichi. The church was consecrated in the name of the Holy Trinity on September 3, 1860. At the end of the XIX century, the number of parishioners exceeded 2600 people. In 1882, Janka Kupala was baptized in this church [3] .
In 1915 , the head priest of the church was Vaclav Gintovt-Dzewaltowski [4] .
In 1946, the church was closed; a factory workshop was organized in the building [5] . Towards the end of the 20th century, the building came into disrepair, after it was returned to the Catholic Church in 1990, the restoration took almost 13 years. The re-consecration of the restored temple took place in 2003 [6] .
Architecture
The Holy Trinity Church is a three-nave two-tower basilica with a semicircular apse and side sacristies [1] . The main, rectangular in plan volume is covered by a gable roof, elongated along the longitudinal axis of the apse - a lower gable roof. Four-tier towers, square in cross section, are decorated with through arched openings and completed with helmeted domes . Lateral plane facades are rhythmically dissected by high arched window openings and wide pilasters in the piers [1] .
The inner space is divided into three naves by two rows of square columns. The ancient ornament on the floor in the apse part has been partially preserved. In front of the church there are gates with three arched passages [1] .
