Prerequisites
Dmitry Golubev before the creation of the group participated in the group "Chaos-Valet" (1980-1984). At this time, many compositions were written, which subsequently entered into the repertoire of the group "Stupid", for example: "Voice from Sewerage", "Dumpster", "Do you like the Rolling Stones?", "Rock and roll will not kill!" "Russian Renaissance , Pa Bamba.
In 1985, Dmitry Golubev, in collaboration with members of the Larin Glam group, founded the magazine Uih. This magazine constantly disputed the fictitious publications of the then non-existent magazine Grubults, in particular, mentioning the fictitious names of groups that allegedly were the favorites of this magazine: Leather Syringe, Marinated Gadi, Podonkin Stones, Dull, Pink Bars ", etc.
First performance
The idea of calling the group the word "Stupid" turned out to be attractive.
In the winter of 1986, an underground night gathering was held at MGRI with the participation of representatives of the “ Research Institute of Cosmetics ” and “Chuk and Gek” groups. At this event, the band "Stupid" also performed for the first time.
