Location
The village of Bolshaya Ilyinka is located in the eastern part of the Yegoryevsk district, about 25 km southeast of the city of Yegoryevsk. 4 km east of the village flows the river Tsna . Altitude 132 m [2] .
Title
The name is associated with Ilya the colloquial form of the calendar personal name Elijah [3] .
History
At the time of the abolition of serfdom, the village belonged to the landowner Volkova. After 1861, the village became part of the Pochinok volost of the Yegoryevsky district. The parish was located in the village of Pochinki [4] .
In 1926, the village was part of the Erokhinsky village council of the Pochinok volost of the Yegoryevsky district [5] .
Until 1994, Bolshaya Ilyinka was part of the Polbinsky Village Council of the Egorievsky District, in 1994-2004. - Polbinsky rural district, and in 2004-2006. - Podryadnikovsky rural district [6] .
Population
In 1885, 206 people lived in the village [7] , in 1905 - 263 people (125 men, 138 women) [8] , in 1926 - 197 people (85 men, 112 women) [5] . According to the 2002 census , 5 people (2 men, 3 women) [9] .
