Knyazhevo is a village in the Yegoryevsky municipal district of the Moscow region . It is part of the rural settlement Yurtsovskoe . The population is 21 [1] people. (2010).

Location

The village of Knyazhevo is located in the eastern part of the Yegoryevsky district, about 20 km southeast of the city of Yegoryevsk. The Belavinka River flows through the village . Altitude 127 m [2] .

Title

In written sources it is referred to as the village of Prince (1548), since 1770 - Knyazhevo . The village was founded by the princes Zasekin on their lands and named after their title [3] .

History

Before the abolition of serfdom, the villagers belonged to the category of state peasants . After 1861, the village became part of the Parykinsky volost of the Yegoryevsky district [4] .

In 1926, the village was part of the Knyazhevsky village council of the Pochinok volost of the Yegoryevsky district [5] .

Until 1994, Knyazhevo was part of the Polbinsky Village Council of the Egorievsky District, in 1994-2004. - Polbinsky rural district, and in 2004-2006. - Podryadnikovsky rural district [6] .

Population

In 1885, 458 people lived in the village [7] , in 1905 - 615 people (305 men, 310 women), and 25 people (9 men, 16 women) [8] in the estate of the church clergy [8] , in 1926 - 508 people (213 men, 295 women) [5] . According to the 2002 census , 26 people (11 men, 15 women) [9] .
