The Zaragoza Museum ( Spanish: Museo de Zaragoza ) is one of the largest museums in Spain located in Zaragoza.

In its collections are archaeological and ethnographic exhibits, artwork, ceramics . The museum has a library , restoration department, it holds educational and social activities.
History
This is the oldest museum in the capital of Aragon , located in the building of the era of the new revival , designed by architects Ricardo Magdalene and Julio Bravo.
The building was built in 1908 , the opening of the museum - in 1911 .
Also called the Museum of Fine Arts.
Museum collections
The museum exhibits a collection of prehistoric objects, mosaics and various objects found during excavations and dating from the time of the first Roman settlement. Interesting collection of objects of Muslim art from the palace Alhafería, Romanesque and Renaissance painting and sculpture.
A separate room is dedicated to the works of Francisco Goya . Here you can see his self-portrait, portraits of San Carlos, Ferdinand VII, Carlos IV and Marie-Louise Parma, as well as engravings from the series “Caprichos”.

Ceramics Section
The ceramics section of the Zaragoza Museum is located in the Albarracín building, to the right of the entrance to the Primo de Rivera park, next to the ethnological department. The exhibition is dedicated to the development of Aragonese pottery craftsmanship from the Stone Age to the present day. Particular attention is paid to the characteristic ceramic products, manufactured in Muela and Teruel and considered the best in the world.
