La Campana - National Park of Chile . Together with the national reserve Lago-Peñeles, it is the biosphere reserve La Campana - Peñeles [1] .

Physical-geographical characteristic
The national park is located in the provinces of Valparaiso and Quillota (the communes of Ichuelas and Olmue ) [2] and is intended to protect the eponymous peak .
The park consists of several sectors along which various walking routes are laid. The Granizo sector includes the Andinista route, the Cajón Grande route includes the Plateaux route and the Los Robles-Portezuelo Ocoa route, and the Palmas de Ocoa route on the route La Cascada and Al Amasijo - Portezuelo Ocoa. The Granizo and Cajón Grande sectors are accessible from Olmue municipality on route 62, and the Palmas de Ocoa sector from Ichuelas municipality, follow the road in the direction of Ocoa to F304 [2] .
Flora and fauna
Plant species such as Peumus boldus , Lithrea caustica , Cryptocarya alba , Crinodendron patagua , Drimys winteri and Persea meyeniana [3] grow on the territory of the national park. In addition, the park is the core of the spread of Jubaea chilensis - a rare type of palm trees, endemic to several regions of Chile [4] . In total, about 320 plant species grow in the park [2] .
According to Birdlife International, you can meet the following types of birds: Nothoprocta perdicaria , Pteroptochos mecandan ] .
The park has about 100 species of animals, in particular, a large representation of the Chilean Mediterranean species [2] .
Chile endemic to the park is a fly Evocoa chilensis Yeates, Irwin & Wiegmann, 2003 - the only member of the Evocoidae family [6] [7] .
Human interaction
The park was created on October 17, 1967. La Campana National Park and the Lago Peñeles National Reserve form the La Campana Biosphere Reserve - Peñeles Biosphere Reserve, which since 1985 has been a member of the global network of biosphere reserves [2] .
The managing organization is CONAF, the National Forestry Corporation [8] , the park has been managed by CONAF since 1974 [2] .
