Biography
Born in 1944 in Lixouri on the island of Kefallinia in Greece in the family of Nikolaos and Mary.
Received primary education at home. In 1966 he graduated from Patmos Church School, after which he entered the Theological Faculty of the University of Aristotle in Thessaloniki , which he graduated in 1966.
On February 9, 1967, Metropolitan of Rhodes, Spiridon was tonsured a monk in on the island of Rhodes , and on February 10, Metropolitan of Rhodes Spiridon was ordained a priest.
From 1977 to 2005, he served as a protosinkella on the island of Rhodes. On June 28, 1981, he was ordained hieromonk and elevated to the rank of archimandrite .
Since 1982 - rector of the monastery of Panagia Faneromeni.
On May 21, 2005, he was consecrated bishop of Leross with the elevation to the rank of Metropolitan .
