Lopatin, Vasily Vadimovich

Vasiliy Vadimovich Lopatin (born November 19, 1989 ) is a Russian rock musician , best known as the guitarist of the Moscow punk rock group Cockroaches! ". He was also the guitarist of the bands “ Lazy Bitches ”, “ Male Factors ”, “Pretty Fly”, as well as the group “ Rockets from Russia ”.

Biography

Born on November 19, 1989 in the science city of Reutov (Moscow). He studied at the school of self-determination No. 734, located at the address: 58A Lilac Boulevard, Moscow. Class letter: "A".

At the age of seven, Vasily began to study at the music school in the class of guitar. His teacher was Anatoly Kuzmich Shvedov, and later Gennady Alekseevich Fetisov.

He taught at the school "School of Rock" at school. Initially, Alexei Prokopyev began working at the School of Rock as a sound engineer. Then, as they justified, the rest began to come. Together with friends Alexei Prokopyev and Igor Hatsayuk organized the team Pretty Fly. Later, Sergey Batrakov joined them. Now the group is on holiday. In 2008, he became a member of the band "Lazy Bitches", where he played together with Dmitry Spirin , who later offered Vasily the place of guitarist in the group "Cockroaches!" Initially, Vasily met Dmitry at the so-called rock and roll discos, which were arranged by the leader of "T!". The young musician often attended these events, and once with a friend about to make a film about rock music, he even interviewed Dmitry Spirin. But their closer acquaintance nevertheless happened thanks to "Lazy Bitches".

In 2010, he comes to "Cockroaches!" As the second guitarist. The band's first performance was at the Kubana [1] festival in 2010.

In 2010, Vasily became a member of the "Male Factors" group. He performed with them for the first time at the "Invasion" festival .

Also in 2010, together with Dmitry Spirin, Nikolai Stravinsky and Nikolai Bogdanov, he created the project “Missiles from Russia”, specializing in cover versions of famous rock compositions.

In May 2019, the Cockroaches! Group announced that Vasily was leaving its composition.

Guitars

Basil's first electric guitar was Ibanez , donated by his friends. Now the musician uses Fender Stratocaster , Gibson SG and the electro-acoustic guitar Lag [2] . There are other guitars that are not involved in concert activities.
