Biography
Born June 30, 1912. At the age of 8, he ended up in the Poltava colony for juvenile delinquents (later the Labor Commune of the OGPU named after Maxim Gorky ).
Over the years, he entered the board of the labor colony and in 1928, Anton Semenovich Makarenko was selected to found the asset of the Trudkommuna named after F. E. Dzerzhinsky.
Military career
In 1933, he became a graduate of the Kharkov Livestock College Konstantinovsky and was sent to courses of the OGPU , and until 1938 he was a senior authorized representative of the NKVD .
Since 1938, State Security Lieutenant K.A. Konstantinovsky headed the cynological service of the Far Eastern Border District - according to the results of military operations in the area of Lake Khasan and the Khalkhin-Gol River, he was awarded the Order of the Red Star. In 1940, the captain of state security Konstantinovsky led the cynological service of the Western Special Border District . "Pets" Konstantinovsky took part in the elimination of fortifications and armored vehicles of the White Finns, and dog orderlies rescued many wounded soldiers.
During the Great Patriotic War, he served in a special unit that was engaged in the training of kamikaze dogs that blew up tanks [1] .

Since 1946 - Director of the Daugavpils Theater. Here he met actress Margarita Nazarova , who soon became his wife. Together with her, who played the main role, starred in the comedy of Vladimir Fetin " Striped Flight ". Konstantinovsky acted as a trainer in the films Dangerous Trails and Today is a New Attraction .
At the VI World Festival of Youth and Students in 1957 in Moscow, Nazarova and Konstantinovsky performed the program “Water extravaganza”, for which they received a gold medal and the title of laureates of this festival.
KA Konstantinovsky’s life ended tragically - the tigress Yulka, playing, injured his head with his claws, and the trainer started to have brain inflammation [2] [3] . He underwent an operation that failed, and he died on June 17, 1970 in Leningrad, at the 58th year of his life. He was buried in a cemetery in the village of Tolmachevo, Luga district, Leningrad region, next to his mother.
The wife of Konstantinovsky (Nazarov) at one time also received a serious injury from a tiger (his name was Pursh ) - rupture of the temporal artery .
Memory
The fate of the trainer and his wife is dedicated to the Russian television series Margarita Nazarova (television series) , which was released in 2016. The role of Konstantin Konstantinovsky was made by the actor Andrei Chernyshov [4] [5] [6] . Despite the rather large correspondence of the plot of the artist’s biography, many plot lines, including the main ones (primarily related to the illness and death of Konstantinovsky), are fiction [7] .
