Biography
Valeeva Banu Nurgaleevna was born on December 14, 1914 in the village of Shambulykhchi of the Kazan province (now the Apastovsky district of Tatarstan)
Her parents sang well, her father played the mandolin. In her youth, Banu showed musical abilities and flexibility of voice, performing uzun-kui songs (lingering folk songs richly ornamented with melisms). Upon graduation, Banu Valeeva entered the Kazan Music College, where the composer Sultan Gabyashi taught. There she met the Bashkir singer and composer Gaziz Almukhametov. With his assistance and on the advice of his cousin Fakhri Nasretdinov (later a prominent singer, who was also called the "Tatar Lemeshev"), Banu went to Moscow, where she entered the Bashkir opera studio at the P. Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory.
After graduating from the Bashkir studio at the Moscow Conservatory (1938; class E. A. Milkovich) until 1966, he was a soloist at the Belarusian State Technical University and Bibliography, from 1961, he was a teacher at the Ufa School of Arts, and in 1969-1998, he was a teacher at the UGII.
In the period from 1947 to 1963 she was elected as a deputy of the Supreme Council of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. Member of the CPSU since 1953 [1] .
One of the leading masters of Bashkir opera performance. She had a silvery-voiced, gentle voice of a warm timbre, even in all registers, exceptional musicality, and scenic charm. She performed with singers N.K. Dautov, S. Ya. Lemeshev, P. G. Lisitsian, F. Kh. Nasretdinov.
She toured the USSR, Burma, India, Nepal.
In 1966, Banu Nurgaleevna completed her performing career and went to teachers. Until 1998, she taught at the Ufa State Institute of Arts ( Ufa State Academy of Arts named after Zagir Ismagilov ).

She sang romances and songs by composers Kh. F. Akhmetov, R. A. Murtazin, N. G. Sabitov and Bashkir folk - Uzukuyu "Ashkadar", "Zyulkhizya", "Tashtugai", "Handugas" and others.
Memory
May 19, 2011 at 12 o’clock at the address Ufa, st. K. Marx, d. 32 a memorial plaque was opened to the People's Artist of the RSFSR and the BASSR Banu Nurgaleevna Valeeva [2] .
