Ganglioneuritis ( Greek ganglioneuritis ; ganglion + Greek. Neuron nerve + Greek. -Um ) - inflammation of the ganglion with nerve fibers related to it.
Ganglionitis is a disease associated with damage to the border sympathetic trunk.
Symptoms
The clinical picture is determined by the level and nature of the lesion. When the cervical ganglia are involved in the process, pain and autonomic disorders (increased sweating, discoloration, temperature, sensitivity) of the skin of the face and neck, soreness of the trigeminal exit points, vascular spasms can be detected. When the cervico-thoracic ganglia is affected, it is characterized by a change in pain, temperature and surface sensitivity, the occurrence of contractures, pains in the region of the heart. Lumbar and pelvic ganglionitis are characterized by burning, paroxysmal pain in the lower body, abdomen, inner thighs, and lower back. The pain intensifies at night with the manifestation of severe asthenic syndrome.
