The Crimean Regional Council of People's Deputies (before the adoption of the new Constitution of the USSR on October 7, 1977 - the Crimean Regional Council of Workers' Deputies [1] ) is the state authority of the Crimean region as part of the RSFSR / USSR . It consisted of 100 places.

History
The first session of the first convocation of the Supreme Council of the Crimean Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic as part of the RSFSR was held on July 21, 1938 [2] . June 30, 1945 the Crimean Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic was abolished and the Crimean region was created as part of the RSFSR [3] . April 26, 1954 the region was transferred to the Ukrainian SSR [4] .
March 22, 1991 , after the reconstruction of the Crimean Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic according to the referendum, the Crimean Regional Council of People's Deputies was transformed into the Supreme Council of the Crimean Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic [5] according to the law of the Ukrainian SSR of February 12, 1991 “On the restoration of the Crimean Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic” [6] . On June 19 of the same year, mention of restored autonomy was included in the 1978 Constitution of the Ukrainian SSR [7] .
