Felix Davidovich Kokhrikht (born November 28, 1939, Odessa) is a Ukrainian TV presenter, journalist, culturologist, editor, member of the Union of Journalists of Ukraine and the Union of Theater Workers of Ukraine, chairman of the Odessa Center for Contemporary Art, collector, one of the founders of the first Odessa Jazz Club, member of the council of the first Odessa Jazz Club, delegate to the founding congress of the Soviet Jazz Federation (1988), member of the World Odessa Club , member of the public council of the Museum of Modern Art of Odessa, collector of works by Odessa artists ikov.

Biography

Born in Odessa on November 28, 1939 . He graduated from the Odessa Medical School No. 3 (the former Naval Medical School), Odessa National University named after I. I. Mechnikov (Faculty of Philology, correspondence department). He worked in medical institutions and research institutes, in the same years began to collaborate as a journalist with Odessa publications. Since the late 50s, he wrote articles about Odessa nonconformist artists, organized exhibitions of their works in the editorial offices. He acted as one of the founders of the Association of Odessa Artists (TOX), the TIRS Center for Contemporary Art and the Soros-Odessa Center for Contemporary Art, where he was president and chairman of the council, a member of the UNESCO Jazz Federation, and a member of the jury of the Odessa International Master Jam Festival Fest . "
Member of the Union of Journalists of Ukraine (since 1966), the Union of Theater Workers of Ukraine. In different years, including at present, he is the author and presenter of programs on Odessa television channels.
He actively participated in the creation of the monument to Isaac Babel in Odessa [1] . He took part in the First Gogolev Open Literary Festival in Odessa [2] (September 2009) [3] .
Currently, Felix Kohriht continues his active public work and fruitful work in the field of journalism: editor of the almanac Deribasovskaya-Rishelievskaya, editor of the Odessa Library project (a joint project of the Odessa World Club and JSC PLASKE), author and host of the online dialogue Dialogues on Nezhinskaya ”, editor, author and compiler of books and collections, including volumes of the Odessa Library series, the Black Square over the Black Sea collection, and the Oykumena Odessa collection.

Interesting Facts

At the age of 20, Felix Kokhrikht graduated from the Odessa Naval Medical School. He graduated as a civilian physician and worked for some time in a psychiatric hospital. [four]
