Location
The village of Rakhmanovo is located in the eastern part of the Yegoryevsk district, about 21 km southeast of the city of Yegoryevsk. The river Tsna flows 3.5 km north of the village. Altitude 135 m [2] .
Title
The name is associated with the non-calendar personal name Rahman [3] .
History
Before the abolition of serfdom, the villagers belonged to the category of state peasants . After 1861, the village became part of the Parykinsky volost of the Yegoryevsky district. The parish was in the village of Vladychino [4] .
In 1926, the village was part of the Parykinsky village council of the Pochinok volost of the Yegoryevsky district [5] . Until 1939 - the center of the Rakhmanov Village Council .
Until 1994, Rakhmanovo was part of the Podryadnikovsky village council of the Egorievsky district, and in 1994-2006. - Podryadnikovsky rural district [6] .
Population
In 1885, 417 people lived in the village [7] , in 1905 - 519 people (255 men, 264 women) [8] , in 1926 - 487 people (193 men, 294 women) [5] . According to the 2002 census - 128 people (59 men, 69 women) [9] .
