Evstigneev, Igor Ivanovich

Native with. Podkopaevo Meshchovsky district (now - Kaluga region ). After graduating from the 7th grade, he entered the group of blacksmiths at the Lyudinovsk vocational school No. 2.

In 1953 - 1955 he worked as a blacksmith in the Spassky MTS ( Baryatinsky district ). For three years he served in the army in a construction battalion in the Tomsk Region at the construction of a nuclear power plant. After the discharge, he entered the Kaluga Engineering Plant as a blacksmith.

He completed the seven-year assignment in 5 years, and in 1966 he was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor . The plan of the 8th five-year plan was fulfilled in 3 years and 8 months, for which in 1971 he was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor.

In subsequent years, he was awarded the Second Order of Lenin and the Order of the October Revolution.

Since 1993, retired.

The delegate of the XXV Congress of the CPSU . He was elected as a deputy of the Kaluga Regional Council.
