Jesse Sergent ( born July 8, 1988 in Fielding , New Zealand ) is a New Zealand road and track cyclist, bronze medalist of the 2008 Summer Olympics and 2012 Summer Olympics in team pursuit on the track. He has been playing for the AG2R La Mondiale team since 2016.

Career
At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, Jesse Sergant won a bronze medal with the New Zealand national team in the track pursuit.
In November 2008, the New Zealander signed a contract with the amateur youth team Trek-Livestrong , for which he played in 2009 and 2010. At the 2009 World Track Championships, he won a bronze medal in team pursuit.
The following year, 2010, at the World Championships on the track, the New Zealand team defended third place, and also Jesse Sergeant won the silver medal in individual pursuit. He participated in the Commonwealth Games in Delhi, where he won two silver medals in individual and team pursuit. In late 2010, Sergant made his debut as an intern at Team RadioShack , which allowed the team to sign him as an athlete in the main team for the next seasons.
In 2011, at the World Championships on a track in the Dutch Apeldoorn, he became the vice world champion in individual pursuit and won the biggest victory on the highway - he won the separate start race at stage 4 of Eneko Tour .
At the 2012 Olympics in London, a New Zealander as part of his country's team won the bronze medal in team pursuit.
July 10, 2014 won the 5th stage of the Austrian Tour to San Johan .
