Vekshino is a village in the Dmitrovsky district of the Moscow region , part of the Rural Settlement Gabovsky ^[3] . Until 2006, Vekshino was part of the Kamensky rural district ^[4] ^[5] .

Location

The village is located in the southwestern part of the district, near the border with Solnechnogorsk , about 25 km southwest of Dmitrov , at the source of the nameless right tributary of the Volgushi river, the height of the center above sea level is 242 m ^[6] . The nearest settlements are Redkino , 1 km to the north and Rozhdestveno , 1.5 km to the southeast.
