Distributed in the Namib desert in Namibia and southern Angola . Adapted to the specific conditions of life in the desert and uses color change in order to regulate the heat of your body. Lives on the ground, so the tail is not grabbing, unlike related tree species. The desert chameleon feeds on insects, small lizards and snakes and even scorpions. Females are larger and reach a length of 16 cm. They lay up to 20 eggs.
