Biography

From 1872 to 1876 he studied at the Technological Institute in Krakow. From 1876 to 1880 he continued his studies at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Vienna Institute of Technology. In 1882 he returned to Krakow, where he began to work in the design and architectural bureau of Tadeusz Stryensky . Later he began to collaborate with Tadeusz Stryensky in architectural design. In 1886 he began to teach at the city school of art crafts. Since 1918, he was a professor of architecture at the Krakow School of Fine Arts .

Since 1900, published the journal of the Cracow Technical Society " Architekt ".

He died on June 23, 1927 in Krakow.

Creativity

Together with Tadeusz Strynski designed a house on 4 Pilsudski Street, the building of the Alexander Lubomirsky Foundation (today - the Main Building of the Cracow University of Economics ). Rebuilt the Pulawski Palace . He designed the buildings on the streets of Karmelitskaya d. 42, Studenskaya d. 14, Shpitalnaya d. 4, Grodzkaya d. 26 and his own house on the street Józef Pilsudski d. 40.

From 1904 to 1906, together with Stanislav Vyspiansky, he designed the restoration of Wawel .
