In the chorus you can hear Tony Yayo laughing with a stutter. This effect in the future copied Lupe Fiasco on the track "The Coolest" from Lupe Fiasco's The Cool record.
Six days after the track hit the network, “Straight to the Bank” debuted at the 48th line of Hot R & B / Hip-Hop Songs, having risen to 30th place in a few weeks. On May 5, 2007, 50 Cent performed the song live for the first time in a high staged boxing match in the first middleweight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Oscar De La Hoya at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas when Mayweather and his entourage entered the ring.
"Straight to the Bank" ranked the third line of the iTunes single chart; due to the transfer of the release date of Curtis, the composition was removed from the service.
Video Clip
Directed by: Benny Boom. The video debuted on MTV on May 17, 2007, one day after the premiere of Amusement Park video. On December 31, 2007, the video appeared in 83rd place in the Notarized: Top 100 Videos of 2007 version of BET.
