Named in honor of engineer-trainer Fedor Ivanovich Knorring , who participated in the construction of the Ussuri railway [2] [3] .

Geography
The railway station is located on the Trans-Siberian Railway between the stations of the Far Eastern Railway Spassk-Dalniy and Sibirtsevo .
The distance to the Spassk-Dalniy station (to the north) is about 20 km.
The road to Knorring Station runs west of the Ussuri motorway ; the distance to the regional center Spassk-Dalniy (north along the Ussuri motorway) is about 20 km.
The nearest settlement - the village of Prokhori of the Spassky district - to the east for about 5 km.
