Fedotova, Revolda Davidovna

During the Jewish pogrom during the Civil War, she lost her parents and was brought up in an orphanage. She graduated from the Kharkov Institute of National Economy (1934). In 1934-1941 she worked as an engineer, then as a teacher in Kharkov . In 1941-1944, she was the government commissioner in the apparatus of the USSR State Planning Commission in the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic , from 1945 she held a similar position in the Moldavian SSR ^[1] . The dissertation of the doctor of economic sciences on the topic “Problems of improving the planning of capital investment efficiency” was defended at the Institute of Economics of the USSR Academy of Sciences in 1968 ^[2] .

In 1947-1967, he was a senior researcher, then head of the department and sector at the Institute of Economics of the Academy of Sciences of the Moldavian SSR. ^[3] In 1967-1973 - head of the department of economics, organization and production planning she founded at the Chisinau Polytechnic Institute named after S. G. Lazo , then - professor of this department ^[4] . She was a member of the editorial board of "Problems of the Economics of Capital Construction in the Moldavian SSR." She collaborated at the Center for Market Economics Studies of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova.

The main works are in the field of methods for determining the economic feasibility of investments and solving economic problems with scientific and technological progress ^{[5] [6]} .

She was buried at the Central Cemetery in Chisinau next to her husband Dmitry Petrovich Fedotov (1904-1977) ^[7] .
