Torquat Novellius Atticus was the son of Publius and may be a relative of Publius Novellius Attica. He came from Mediolan . From the report of Pliny the Elder, we know that he was one of the confidants of the emperor Tiberius because of his excessive alcohol consumption [1] . For about 12 years, Atticus was a Quebec court judge.
For about 14 years he was on the post of military tribune I of the German legion , after which he headed the vexilation of four legions. Then Attik served as a quaestor , aedile , praetor , curator of public buildings. Around the years 30–34, he was a legate sent to Narbonne Gaul for census and tax collection. There he died.
