Kabir Mukhametsharipovich Akbashev ( Bashk. Kәbir Mөkhәmәtshәrip uly Aҡbashev ) - Bashkir playwright, prose writer. Member of the Writers Union of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (1990). Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan (2000). Winner of the Gali Ibragimov Prize (1998) and Jalil Kiekbaev.

Biography
Akbashev Kabir Mukhametsharipovich was born on March 10, 1932 in the village of Novozaitovo in the Krasnousolsky district of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic .
In 1957, he became an employee of the Gafuriy district newspaper Communism Bayragy (now Zvezda). In 1963, he began working in the Sterlitamak district newspaper “The Banner of Communism” (now “Selskaya nov”). In 1970 he graduated from Sterlitamak Pedagogical Institute .
In 1977, he took the post of chief editor of the State Television and Radio Committee of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic in the Sterlitamak zone. In 1992, he became the managing editor of the Sterlitamak television and radio company Ekran, and in 2000, the executive secretary of the Sterlitamak Writing Organization of the Writers' Union of Bashkortostan .
He died on February 6, 2019 [1] .
Creative activity
In 1986, the first poetry collection for children was published, "Yush, Koyashgay!" ("Hello, honey!"). Later the books “The Starling Clapping Hands” and “Why the Swan Cries?”, Also dedicated to children, were published [2] .
Kabir Akbashev is the author of the dramas Ashgakar (1973; Ashkadar), Kitmә, Rustm (1981; Do not go, Rustam), Yәshlegem tirәktәre (1989; Poplar of my youth), My Hope, Actulum ”,“ Neighbors on Fire ”, comedies“ Sibur Katyn ”(1994;“ Beautiful Woman ”),“ Һipkelle ҡыҙ ”(1995;“ Girl with Freckles ”) and others that were staged in republican theaters. Also based on Akbashev’s plays, the performances of the Republican Puppet Theater “Water Thieves” and the Sterlitamak Russian Drama Theater “Don't Cry, My Golden Eagle!” Were shown.
More than 50 songs were created to the verses of Kabir Akbashev by composers N. A. Dautov , R. Kh. Sakhautdinova , R. M. Khasanov and others.
In 1995, on the stage of the Salavat Bashkir Drama Theater, Kabir Mukhametsharipovich’s play “The Girl with Freckles” (directed by Raushaniya Nazarova) was staged, and successfully went on for more than 10 years. The video of this musical comedy is stored in the funds of the Bashkir television. In 2014, this comedy again returned to the repertoire of the same theater directed by the young director Ravil Khakimov.
