History
It was first mentioned in the Scribal Book of Vodskaya Pyatina in the year 1500, as the village of Peredna in the Ilinsky Tigodsky churchyard of the Novgorod district [2] .
In the census of 1710, in the Ilinsky Tigodsky Pogost, the village of Peredna landowners Kusakina and Neganovsky was mentioned [3] .

In the late XIX - early XX century, the village administratively belonged to the Lyuban volost of the 1st mill of the 1st Zemsky district of the Novgorod district of the Novgorod province .

According to the military topographic map of the Petrograd and Novgorod gubernias of the 1917 edition, the village was called Big Peredyna and consisted of 26 peasant households [6] .
From 1917 to 1927 the village was called the Big Transitional and was part of the Lyuban volost of the Novgorod district of the Novgorod province.
Since 1927, as part of the Korkinsky Village Council of the Lyuban District of the Leningrad Region.
Since 1928, as part of the Khochenskiy Village Council
Since 1930, as part of the Luban village council of the Tosno district [7] .
According to the data of 1933, the village was called the Big Transitional and was part of the Luban Village Council of the Tosno District [8] .
According to the topographic map of 1937, the village was called Big Transitional and there were 49 courtyards, the village had its own school.
In 1940, the village’s population was 419 people.
From September 1, 1941 to December 31, 1943, the village was under occupation.
In 1958, the population of the village of Bolshaya Transiadno was 162 people [7] .
According to the data of 1966 and 1973, the village was called the Big Transition and was also part of the Luban Village Council [9] [10] .
According to the 1990s, the village of Bolshaya Transitional was part of the Seltsovskiy Village Council [11] .
In 1997, 19 people lived in the village of Bolshoe Transition of the Seltsovo Volost, in 2002 also 19 people (all Russians) [12] [13] .
In 2007, in the village of Big Transitional Lyubansky GP - 18 people [14] .

The village is located in the eastern part of the district to the south of the center of the settlement of the city on the road 41A-004 ( Pavlovo - Mga - Luga ). The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 4 km [14] .
The distance to the nearest railway station Lyuban is 4 km [9] .
Through the village flows the river Tigoda .
