Biography
Alexey Vladimirovich Speshnev was born on March 14 ( March 27 ), 1911 in Kharkov . In 1929 he graduated from the B.V. Tchaikovsky film school , in 1929 - 1930 he studied at the literary department of the Workers' University. Since 1929 he has been working as a freelance reviewer of Moscow newspapers. In 1932 - 1934 he worked as a screenwriter at the Mosfilm studio. During the war , he was the head of the script department and a member of the artistic council of the Central Art Museum. Since 1954, the acting chairman of the film commission of the joint venture of the USSR . In 1958 - 1967 - teacher at VGIK , head of the script workshop, professor. In 1963 - 1973, director at the Belarusfilm film studio [1] [2] .
