Glass with a polymer base between the layers.
Shatterproof glass is a conditional name for a number of types of glass , upon destruction of which no fragments with cutting edges are formed.
The two main types of this glass are triplex (tempered glass with a polymer base between the layers) and reinforced glass (with a metal mesh inside), sometimes tempered glass is also considered to be this type, which is not entirely true.
Triplex is widely used in the automotive industry , in particular, windshields on cars are made from it. Reinforced glass is used in construction ; these are transparent walls and inserts .
