Biography
Born in the family of a wealthy peasant, his father owned a leather workshop.
In the early 1880s he moved to Petrozavodsk , led the trade in flour and building materials, owned river and lake vessels. He was one of the founders in 1910 of the Onega Steamship Company , the Ogonek match factory and the Olonia brewery.
In 1884, he invented the wind turbine, which was highly praised by Professor V.L. Kirpicheva [2] .
Since 1891 - Honorary Guardian of the Senogubsky two-year school of the Ministry of Public Education.
Since 1902 - Member of the Guardianship of Petrozavodsk Cathedral.
Since 1905 - honorary trustee of the Nikolaev orphanage.
Since 1903 - the first director of the Petrozavodsk public city bank.
Since 1907 - member of the Petrozavodsk district unfolding presence.
Since 1909 - Member of the Olonets Provincial Statistical Committee.
Since 1910 - a member of the Olonets district department of the Imperial Russian Society for Water Rescue.
In the years 1910-1913 - the mayor of Petrozavodsk.
Since 1911 - member of the accounting and loan committee of the Petrozavodsk branch of the State Bank. Director of the boys' shelter in Petrozavodsk.
From 1915, he was a representative from the manufacturers in Olonetsky in the presence of factory affairs, a member of the audit committee of the Red Cross for wartime [3] . In 1921, he invented the high-speed boat, made a report to the Economic Council of the Karelian Labor Commune on the acceleration of the water communication in the region on the basis of his invention.
Also known as local historian. He made a significant contribution to the study of the culture of peasants from Zaonezhye , was an active member of the Society for the Study of Olonets Gubernia , published his observations on ethnography and folklore of the Olonets Gubernia in “ Olonets Gubernia Vedomosti ” . In addition, V.D. Lysanov is the author of the article "On the issue of our shipping" in the Olonets provincial Gazette [4] .
He was awarded two gold and one silver medal "For Diligence", in 1899 he was awarded the Badge for services to agriculture.
Family
His wife is Praskovya Petrovna, nee Vasilyeva (1865–1912). Sons - Dmitri (b. 1883), Peter (b. 1899), Alex (b. 1910),
daughters - Evdokia (born 1884), Anna (born 1885), Alexandra (born 1900).
