Adele Walker ( born Adele Walker ; August 10, 1976 , Whitehaven ) is a British biathlete. 29-time champion of his country. One of the leading biathletes in the UK.

Career

She started biathlon in 2001. A year later, she managed to get into the UK team. She participated in 6 world championships and 2 European championships .

Despite the fact that Walker is one of the most titled biathletes in the country, she showed modest results at major international competitions. Her best achievement in personal racing at the World Cup is the 61st place in the individual race in the Italian Antholz in the season 2009/2010 .

At the championships of the planet, the athlete did not rise above 72nd place. In relay races, Walker had the best result - 23rd in Pyeongchang .

At the European Championships in Nove Mesto in 2008, Walker in the sprint managed to get into the thirty strongest, taking 27th place.

Her personal trainer is husband Mark Walker. In 2014, Walker was promoted to sergeant for his services during his military service [1] .

After the end of the 2013/2014 season, the biathlete announced the end of her career.
